We have been hiring out Capri and Pagoda marquees since 2002, and these are the questions people ask us most about Capri marquee hire. If you can't find your answer below, call us on 01428 751 745 and we'll get straight back to you.
- Do the marquees come with side walls?
Yes, all marquees come with side walls as standard: half clear and half solid. On the day of set up you can choose to have them on or off, or even half on and half off.
- Can I decorate the marquee myself?
You're welcome to decorate the marquee yourself. Use string, not sticky tape or staples, when putting up your decorations. No crepe paper either, as that can stain the marquee.
- Are Capri marquees waterproof?
Yes, they are waterproof, though not in stormy weather.
- Can you connect a Capri marquee to a building?
We can't connect these types of marquees to buildings because of their shape.
- How high are the Capri marquee arches?
The arches are around 7ft to 8ft high, which gives you plenty of head room and a more open feel inside. The centre pole is around 16ft high.
- How much space do we require?
We have four sizes available, and larger sizes can be made by joining two or more marquees together. Capri marquees can be linked to form all sorts of shapes and sizes, so get in touch if you'd like help working out what fits your space.
- Do Capri marquees have to go onto a grassed area?
All sizes booked have to fit on a flat grassed area, with no trees, bushes or hedges running through the marquee site. Please check the space you have against the size you order before you book.
- Do we need to have flooring?
Not during the summer, depending on the grass condition. If you'd like a dance floor in the marquee, we do have to put flooring down to protect the wooden dance floor.

About Capri Marquees
A Capri marquee is simply a different style of marquee. You can spot it by its distinctive multi-peaked ceiling, and it works well as an open space or closed in with the clear or solid side walls.
We hire them in four sizes, from a 20 by 20 foot marquee that seats around 20 people up to a 28 by 58 foot one that seats 120 or more, and we can link several together for bigger events or awkward spaces. You'll find the full list on our sizes and prices page, and our packages include tables, chairs, flooring and lighting if you want the whole lot sorted.
