Marquee Hire in Portsmouth

We're Joanne and David Morris, a family-run marquee hire business based in Havant, and we've been putting up Capri and Pagoda marquees in Portsmouth and Southsea since 2002. Portsmouth is about eight miles from our workshop, so we're in and out of PO1 to PO6 most weeks through the season.

Over the years we've worked most of the regular venues, from Southsea Common to the Mountbatten Centre and the dockyard fringe, and the colleges keep us busy in the summer term. City of Portsmouth College had us in for their welcome days, Highbury College the same week, and we've done wet-weather school events at Portsmouth Grammar. It's the same family business behind Monster Event Hire, so the marquee often goes up alongside the bouncy castles and photo booths.

Our Capri marquees come in four sizes and link together for bigger crowds, and we can add flooring, tables, chairs, lighting and a dance floor. Most of our Portsmouth work is weddings and parties, but we also cover corporate days and events at the city-centre and waterfront venues. Our marquees need flat grass with no trees, bushes or hedges through the footprint, and we can't attach them to buildings, which most gardens and school fields are fine with. Every marquee comes with half-clear, half-solid side walls as standard, so you can open them up on a warm day or keep the weather out if it turns.
